Most patients resume light activity after 7–10 days; full recovery takes about 2–3 weeks.

Voice may sound slightly different initially due to throat swelling but returns to normal once healed.

In rare cases, small tonsillar tissue remnants can regrow, but this is uncommon.

Usually 5–7 days after surgery, once swallowing and hydration are normal.
